Michael Perez After an already impressive start with "Spirit of Carpathian Sunset", Zgard returned with yet another slab of quality Slavonic Black Metal. As the press release stated, this album had a different approach that focused more on a melancholic atmosphere while still containing the melodic and grandiose elements that Zgard is praised for. Beautifully written and expertly performed, this album is moving, yet still epic. For fans of melodic Slavonic Black Metal like Khors or Raventale Favorite track: Despair.

about

Zgard's second album "Reclusion" is different compared to its predecessor "The Spirit of Carpathian Sunset" - majority of folk elements are left over, atmosphere got much darker, colder and depressive. Special music for special moods.
